Dig In is a trading name of Hadham Enterprises Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 09622412). Our registered office is c/o Figures 4U Ltd, 36 Dents Close, Letchworth Garden City, Hertfordshire SG6 2TP. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy, registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under number ZA141777.

What this policy covers

This policy covers digin.co.uk: people who contact us, request a report or plan a campaign with us, and people who visit the site. Students who join mydigin.com, receive a Dig In bag or answer a Dig In survey are covered by the privacy notice they see when they sign up or take part.

What we collect

• Details you give us in a form or an email: your name, company, work email, job title, phone number if you add it, and what you tell us about your campaign.

• Details you give us when you request a report: the fields the form asks for, usually your name, work email, company and job title.

• How you use the site: pages you visit, the page you came from, your device and browser type, and your approximate location from your IP address. We collect this through cookies, and only if you accept them. See our cookie policy.

How we use it, and our lawful basis

• To reply to your enquiry and plan a campaign with you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running the business, or taking steps at your request before a contract.

• To send you a report you asked for. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.

• To send business contacts occasional news about Dig In research and campaign dates. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. You can opt out at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing us.

• To understand how the site is used and improve it. Our lawful basis is your consent, given through the cookie banner.

• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations. Our lawful basis is legal obligation.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with suppliers who help us run the business, under contracts that require them to protect it:

• HubSpot, our customer relationship management system, which stores enquiries and, if you accept cookies, records visits to the site.

• Framer, which hosts this website and its forms.

• Our email and file storage providers.

• Professional advisers, such as our accountants, where needed.

• Regulators, courts or the police, where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of these suppliers store data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum approved by the Information Commissioner to protect it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and contact records while we have a business relationship with you, and for up to three years after our last contact. We keep records needed for tax and accounting for six years. We then delete them or make them anonymous.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;

• ask us to correct it, or to delete it;

• object to how we use it, including to marketing at any time;

• ask us to restrict how we use it, or to send it to you or another organisation in a usable format;

• withdraw your consent, where we rely on it.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would welcome the chance to put it right first.

Security

We limit who can access personal information and use established suppliers to store it. No website is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information through our forms.

We will update this page if the way we use personal information changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
