The Welcome Bag
A university welcome box is a pack of free products and offers that students receive when they move into halls. Dig In’s version is a Welcome Bag (a paper bag in 2026), given to 500,000 students each September across 1,000+ halls. Brands pay to put a sample, voucher or leaflet inside. Students value it: 88.7% said it improved their welcome and rated it 4.3 out of 5 (2024, n=48,991). Universities, students’ unions and halls can request bags too.
